Immediate implantology in Sofia
Immediate implantology makes it possible to treat a complete jaw in a single step. Basal implants are placed immediately after the extraction of the teeth. The prosthesis (bridge or crown) is also fixed immediately (in the 3 days after). This is called immediate loading. The dental clinic specializes in immediate implant treatment using the new method of the bi-cortical implant.
Lack of bone and broken bridge
Before coming to the dental clinic, we noted the presence of a broken bridge and a significant lack of bone. When the patient meets our dentist for the first time, the broken bridge has loosened. We note that all the teeth that support it are devitalized. Devitalized teeth pose many problems since they release bacteria in small doses and create a lack of bone. Many infections are present and the patient has constant dental pain.
Immediate implantology and basal implants
In order to overcome these dental problems, the immediate implantology method is chosen by mutual agreement with the patient. First, all the teeth are extracted and gingival plastic surgery is performed in order to cleanse the infected gums and minimize the risk of gum retraction.
The basal implants can then be placed without a bone graft since they are placed in the cortical bone following a very specific treatment protocol and using state-of-the-art 3D technology. Dental bridges are placed. load immediately on the basal implants. Dental bridges are loaded immediately on the basal implants. This means that 3 days after the installation of the immediate dental implants the bridges must be fixed. It is the latter which ensure the distribution of the chewing forces.
